Sopraan NAOMI BEELDENS is een veelzijdige performer, muziektheatermaker en dramaturg.
Na haar Moderne Literatuurstudies aan de Universiteit Antwerpen, studeerde Naomi klassieke zang aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen. Ze studeerde af met grote onderscheiding met haar productie van Poulenc’s La Voix humaine met Muziektheater Transparant, waar ze ook werd aangesteld als huisartieste. Als freelance speler en maker was Naomi al vaak te gast in producties van One Trick Pony, Zonzo Compagnie, HYOID voices, HERMESensemble, ChampdAction, en Post Uit Hessdalen.
Samen met Isaak Duerinck en Ewout Lehoucq maakt Naomi deel uit van muziektheatercollectief LES ÂMES PERDUES. Na hun debuutvoorstelling Les Âmes Perdues, een duik in het Cabaret van de vroege 20ste Eeuw, flankeerden ze theatercollectief deRoovers in Het Bezoek van Friedrich Dürrenmatt en maakten een eigenzinnige muziektheatrale bewerking van Heiner Müllers Quartett in Every Ending/Quartett. In 2020 brachten ze met Eurovisionary een ode aan 65 jaar Eurovisiesongfestival en in augustus 2021 ging How Do You Sleep at Night in première, een laat-kapitalistische trip door de wereld van de melatonine. Met Fledermaus Forever, in regie van Tom Goossens, oogstten ze in 2024-25 een groot succes op een Grande Tournée door Vlaanderen.
Naomi zong in producties o.l.v. Manoj Kamps, Philippe Herreweghe, Frank Agsteribbe, Ewald Demeyere en Martyn Brabbins en werkt graag samen met hedendaagse componisten als Liesa Van der Aa, Annelies Van Parys, Eva Reiter, Szymon Brzoska, Maarten Buyl, Hilda Paredes, Frederik Neyrinck en Jan Van Outryve.
Naomi is als coach Creatieve Eindprojecten en coördinator van de multidisciplinaire projectweek NextDoors verbonden aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Antwerpen.
In seizoen 2025-2026 is Naomi te zien in 4 wereldcreaties: Hunter van Liesa Van der Aa en Neuköllner Oper, Wastories met HYOID voices en Eva Reiter, in De Gezichten met blokfluitensemble Delle Donne Consort en Frederik Neyrinck en in een nieuwe grootschalige samenwerking tussen Les Âmes Perdues, Tom Goossens, Mitch Van Landeghem en Muziektheater Transparant.
In haar vrije tijd, en stiekem ook zo veel mogelijk op het podium, is Naomi gepassioneerd blokfluitist.

Soprano NAOMI BEELDENS is a versatile performer, music theatre creator and dramaturge.
After completing her degree in Modern Literature at the University of Antwerp, Naomi started her classical singing studies at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. She graduated with great distinction with her production of Poulenc’s La Voix humaine, with Muziektheater Transparant, where she was appointed artist in residence. As a freelance performer and creator, Naomi has previously appeared in productions by One Trick Pony, Zonzo Compagnie, HYOID voices, HERMESensemble, ChampdAction and Post Uit Hessdalen.
With Isaak Duerinck and Ewout Lehoucq, Naomi is part of music theatre collective LES ÂMES PERDUES. After their debut Les Âmes Perdues, a deep dive into early 20th century Cabaret, they flanked theatre collective deRoovers in Het Bezoek by Friedrich Dürrenmatt and created a wayward music-theatrical arrangement of Heiner Müllers’ Quartett in Every Ending/Quartett. In 2020, they created Eurovisionary, an ode to 65 years of the ESC, and in August 2021 How Do You Sleep at Night, a late capitalist trip through the world of melatonine, premiered. Their production Fledermaus Forever, directed by Tom Goossens, was a huge succes on a Grande Tournée through Flanders in 2024-2025.
Naomi has performed in productions under the baton of Manoj Kamps, Philippe Herreweghe, Liesa Van der Aa, Frank Agsteribbe, Ewald Demeyere, and Martyn Brabbins and enjoys collaborating with contemporary composers such as Annelies Van Parys, Szymon Brzoska, Maarten Buyl, Hilda Paredes, Jan Van Outryve, Eva Reiter and Frederik Neyrinck.
Naomi is affiliated to the Conservatory of Antwerp as coach of Artistic Graduation Projects and coördinator of the interdisciplinary project week NextDoors.
In the 2025–2026 season, Naomi will appear in four world premieres: Hunter by Liesa Van
der Aa and Neuköllner Oper, Wastories with HYOID voices and Eva Reiter, De
Gezichten with the recorder ensemble Delle Donne Consort and Frederik Neyrinck, and
a new large-scale collaboration between Les Âmes Perdues, Tom
Goossens, Mitch Van Landeghem and Muziektheater Transparant.
In her spare time, and secretly as much as possible on stage too, Naomi is a passionate recorder player.
